No Relief for Bitcoin ETFs as Outflows Hit $175 Million on Friday

$175 Million Outflows on Friday

On Friday, Bitcoin ETFs had another rough day, ending the week with significant losses. The 11 combined funds saw total outflows of $175.67 million, pushing the week’s total outflows to $277.13 million, according to recent data from SoSoValue. This marked a difficult end to a week that saw more than a quarter of a billion dollars exit Bitcoin ETFs.

No inflows were recorded for the day. The largest outflow came from the ARK Invest (ARKB) fund, which lost $65.05 million. Grayscale’s GBTC fund was also hit hard, recording $70.22 million in outflows. Bitwise saw $16.38 million exit, while Fidelity’s FBTC fund recorded $12.88 million in outflows. Invesco’s BTCO fund wasn’t spared either, with $11.14 million flowing out.

Several funds, including BlackRock, Valkyrie, VanEck, Grayscale BTC, Franklin Templeton’s EZBC, and WisdomTree, recorded no action on Friday. Notably, BlackRock, which had experienced its second-ever day of outflows on Thursday, saw neither inflows nor outflows to close the week.

As we keep track of these daily ETF inflows and outflows, it’s clear that this was a week of substantial losses across the board, with no funds seeing positive movement on the final trading day. Follow us at HowToBuyBitcoin.org for ongoing updates on ETF activity and market shifts.
