Bitcoin ETFs Record $71M in Outflows on Thursday: A Tough Week Continues

ETF Outflows Hit $71M on Thursday

On Thursday, Bitcoin continued to struggle around the $59,000 mark, which likely contributed to another day of moderate outflows for Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. This was already the third consecutive day of outflows, with the 11 tracked funds collectively recording $71.73 million in outflows, according to SoSoValue data. For the week so far, the total outflows have reached $101.46 million, with just one trading day left.

Among the funds, ARKB was the only one to record a minimal inflow of $5.34 million on Thursday, a small recovery after $159.27 million left the fund on Wednesday.

Grayscale’s GBTC fund saw $22.68 million in outflows, while Bitwise recorded $8.09 million flowing out. Fidelity’s FBTC fund experienced $31.11 million in outflows, and BlackRock, which had seen the largest inflow of $224 million on Monday, reported a modest outflow of $13.51 million on Thursday. Valkyrie’s fund also recorded $1.68 million in outflows.

Several funds, including VanEck, Grayscale BTC fund, Franklin Templeton’s EZBC, WisdomTree, and Invesco BTCO, did not record any inflows or outflows for the day.

These ongoing outflows reflect the cautious sentiment among investors as Bitcoin hovers at a critical price level currently, with market participants closely watching the next move.
